Our Story
CitiXP was formed from the vision of our founder who knew something was missing from the travel industry. Authentic ways of getting to plan an easy trip but filled in with unforgettable experiences. Big problem: Realising you don't have many friends in other countries and just relying in 'book your next tour and pay now' recommendations was overwhelming.
While many travel platforms focus on hotel deals, packaged tours and airfare prices, they often overlook the deeper question: Is it something your 'local' friend would recommend? What can this journey mean to you?
In early of 2024, CitiXP was founded to build a community where people can not only plan their own trip plans but also share how they truly lived these experiences. Not just where they went, but how it felt. Out platform empowers travelers to reflect on their adventures, connect with others through shared journeys, and inspire new ways of creating the next trip experience.

About Our Founder
Andres Lombana
Andres Lombana is the founder of CitiXP. As a migrant that has decided to start a new life in Australia, he decided to launch what was a meaningful personal project into a company that has gathered the attention of multiple viewers in social media and among other tourism bodies in New South Wales.
His mission at CitiXP is to make a real thriving community where anyone can engage for the sole purpose of doing what everybody likes doing the most: Travelling. Andres has had previous businesses in e-commerce and podcasting. However, after 2 years of solo travelling to multiple Asian countries, he has finally decided to pursue something he won't stop caring about - travelling and making friends from all over the world.
