About This Trail

In the municipality of Salento, which is reached after a 25 km trip north from Armenia, you visit the Cocora valley, where the wax palm grows, the national tree, which can measure 60 m high. This tree is essential for a very showy bird, the yellow-eyed parrot. In the Cocora valley, travelers can walk along an ecological trail and even ride.
